Porcelain for commercial spaces
Lobbies, offices, showrooms and hospitality in porcelain slabs and tiles for commercial projects.
Why porcelain works in commercial spaces
Porcelain for commercial projects takes heavy traffic, rolling loads and daily cleaning without a sealer: it does not stain, scratch or fade, and the same design is available as floor tile and as large-format slabs for walls and counters. Specifications and certifications are on every product page.
Use one design across a lobby floor, the elevator walls and the reception desk, or set a slab wall as the signature of the space. Start with the surface you are planning below, then see how other commercial spaces put it together.

High-traffic floors
Offices, retail and common areas: a matte or lappato finish gives grip and hides wear, and large tiles keep grout lines to a minimum.
Lobbies and feature walls
48x111 slabs cover a lobby or elevator wall with very few joints and a veining that runs floor to ceiling.

Reception desks, bars and counters
Porcelain slabs are cut for reception desks, bar fronts and hospitality counters in the same design as the walls or as a contrast.

Porcelain in commercial spaces: FAQ
Is porcelain tile rated for commercial floors?
Yes. Porcelain is among the hardest flooring materials and takes rolling loads, heavy traffic and daily cleaning without a sealer. The technical specifications of each design, including slip resistance, are on its product page; ask our team for the certifications your project requires.
Which finish is best for a high-traffic floor?
Matte or lappato: both give more grip than polished and hide scuffs and footprints. Keep polished finishes for walls, reception desks and areas with less traffic.
Can porcelain slabs be used on a lobby wall?
Yes. Large-format slabs up to 64x128 cover a lobby or elevator wall with very few joints, and the same design is available in tile for the floor. See large-format porcelain slabs.
Do you supply commercial projects in New York City?
